As I was reaching my destination this weekend – for a much anticipated get-away, to Sedona, for slightly cooler temps – I was greeted by rain clouds and a double rainbow. The sun was slowly setting. I could only do what any photographer in their right mind would do. I pulled off the highway and stuck myself up through the sun roof of my CRV. The air smelled sweet and damp. I felt the cool breeze sweep across my face. Admiring the beautiful landscape that lay before me, I almost cried … OK, I shed a few tears … because I was so moved by nature’s gift. I had found myself completely in the moment.
