Remember this adorable couple? If you haven’t previously seen their photos, check out these engagement photos, or should I say their pre-wedding photos, from the last time I met up with them in Flagstaff. Emily text messaged me about 2 weeks before their scheduled engagement shoot telling me that she and Jon had eloped but still wanted me to come up. The lovebirds couldn’t wait til July!
Meet Emily and Jon.
I’ve been waiting months to photograph Emily and Jon’s wedding up in Flagstaff at the Nordic Center. These two are one of the most down-to-earth couples I’ve ever met. Super cute . . . super fun.
Even though they had already eloped, they wanted to say “Hey! I love you!” and celebrate with all the people they love. Re-wed up in the San Francisco Peaks during monsoon season, this early morning wedding was accompanied by 50 of their favorite peeps, Michael Franti tunes, muffins, croissants, bagels, juice, mimosas, coffee . . .and wildflowers.

Emily found the perfect accent hairpiece that matched her wedding dress. It’s a hand-made clay flower by Keepsake Blossoms in Arizona.

Instead of buying a bouquet, Emily decided that the natural wildflowers would accent her wedding nicely and her friend designed a purse specially made for her wedding day since she couldn’t make it to the wedding.

Congrats Emily and Jon! Xo
