Right before Thanksgiving, my parents flew in for the weekend and we took a drive over to the Tonto Bar and Grill in Cave Creek. This restaurant is one of the ecologically friendliest restaurants around. We had some delicious food while enjoying the view of the Rancho Maņana Golf Course from Tonto’s outdoor patio.
I asked the waitress if they hosted weddings there and she handed me the catering managers card. Here are a few shots I took with my iPhone while exploring the grounds:
Beautiful fountain at the front entrance.
Cute little spot for some great photo opportunities!
They do host weddings but only provide the venue. I did chat with the Catering Manager and she mentioned that they hope to host more receptions at the Tonto Grill come Fall of 2011, after a few renovations. Until then, the Rancho Maņana golf course is open to holding ceremonies on the green under a huge white bark tree.
This would be such a gorgeous place to have a wedding and reception. Since it’s quaint and they don’t host a whole lot of weddings just yet, they might offer a great rate for the local bride!
